This year, DYC has voted that there will be two Social Media Reps for this year due to our rapidly expanding online presence.
I'm Oliver Preece and the chair for DYC 2018/19. I have been involved in youth voice in Dudley for four years and intend to continue for as long as possible. I intend to develop myself as much as possible in this amazing position. I will also try and create a link with the Children in Care Council.
I'm Ben and I am the Vice Chair for DYC 2018/19. This is my second year on the youth council and I believe that it is very important for all youth of the borough to have a voice and be heard. My role as vice will include working alongside Oliver, the Chair of DYC 2018/19.
I'm Holly and I'm Secretary of DYC 2018/19, I joined as I wanted to youth people's voices to be heard from the Dudley Borough and it has really boosted my confidence. My role as the secretary is to support the Management and write the agendas and minutes of meetings.
I'm Harley and I'm the Treasurer for DYC 2018/19. I've been a member of DYC for a year now and I decided to apply for management because I wanted to be more involved in making important decisions. DYC has helped me improve my confidence and public speaking skills.
I'm Amman and I'm one of the Media Reps for DYC 2018/19. I've been a member of DYC for a year now and I am dedicated to getting the voice of the Youth heard. I applied for management so I can get DYC recognised through newspaper articles and social media. So please follow us on Social Media here.
My name is Anthony Teague, and I am one of the Media Reps for DYC 2018/19. My job mainly involves developing and maintaining the DYC websites. DYC has helped me improve skill such as my self confidence and communication skills. I would recommend joining DYC if you can!
